Novibet is a Greek-founded online bookmaker that has been building an Irish presence for several years, and this Novibet Ireland review sets out what the Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register, the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) notices and the public record actually show about its licensing, regulatory history, products and customer feedback. Novibet’s own site would not load for our automated checks, so a good deal of its product detail is unconfirmed, and we say so throughout rather than fill gaps with marketing claims. Punter Ireland has no affiliate or commercial relationship with Novibet at the time of writing; nothing here implies a bonus, deal or partnership.

- Confirmed on the Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register of licensed remote bookmakers (reference 1020856, Logflex MT Ltd, trading name “Novibet”), and Logflex MT Limited also appears on a GRAI notice of intent to apply for a remote betting licence
- No published fine, penalty or enforcement action against Novibet was found in the sources we could read, and it left the UK voluntarily in 2022 rather than under a sanction
- Visible Irish commitment: an Irish Country Manager and a lead football partnership with the Off The Ball radio and digital brand announced in May 2026
- Third-party reviews describe a broad product set with Bet Builder, cash out and live streaming, although we could not confirm these on Novibet’s own site
- Trustpilot scores for Novibet are poor (1.7 out of 5 from 553 reviews), with 83 per cent of ratings at one star and withdrawal delays, verification and support the most common complaints
- Novibet’s own Irish site would not load for us, so its GRAI statement, payment methods, limits and current welcome offer are all unverified; we do not repeat figures we could not confirm
- We could not independently confirm any licence beyond the Irish Revenue entry (for example Maltese or Greek licences), so the confirmed licensing evidence is thinner than for several rivals
- Its UK Gambling Commission licences were surrendered in February 2022, so there is no current UK regulatory oversight of the brand to point to
Novibet Ireland licensing: what the licence actually covers
Novibet in Ireland is operated by Logflex MT Ltd, a company with a registered address at MWH Building, Office N 1, Oratory Street, Naxxar, Malta. The Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register of licensed remote bookmakers, which we read directly (the version we checked is dated 30 June 2026, and we checked it on 3 October 2026), lists Remote Bookmaker’s Licence reference 1020856 for Logflex MT Ltd under the trading name “Novibet”, with two named nominees. The register does not publish licence start or end dates.
We also found a public GRAI notice of intent to apply, listing Logflex MT Limited for a remote betting licence, with a publication date in February 2026. A notice of intent is a step in the application process and is not itself a licence, so we treat the Revenue register entry as the confirmed evidence of a licence and the GRAI notice as supporting context. Novibet’s own Irish site is built so that it loads only with JavaScript, and our automated checks could not read its footer, so we cannot tell you whether it states a GRAI registration number. If it does, treat that as the operator’s own statement until you can match it to a public GRAI record.
The register we checked is published by the Irish Revenue Commissioners, not by GRAI. This is a sports betting licence only. Ireland does not yet have gaming (casino) licences — GRAI is expected to open gaming licence applications through 2027 and 2028 — and we could not confirm from first-hand sources which casino products, if any, Novibet offers to Irish accounts. Treat any casino access as not confirmed under the Irish licence. We also could not independently confirm a Maltese or Greek licence for the group from the pages we could read, so we do not list any here.
Regulatory history you should know about
We looked for published enforcement action against Novibet and its licensee. The honest answer is that we found none in the sources we could read, but those sources are limited. We could not read the UK Gambling Commission’s register pages directly, and we did not find a published fine, settlement or penalty against Novibet in the trade reporting and search results we reviewed. Absence of evidence is not proof of a clean record, so read this section as “nothing found” rather than “nothing exists”.
- February 2022: Novibet told UK customers it would stop operating in the UK from 21 February 2022 and surrendered its UK Gambling Commission licences, which had covered remote casino and betting (from November 2014), remote software (2015), virtual event betting (2017) and bingo (2021). Trade reports describe an orderly voluntary exit and do not mention any regulatory sanction, but they also do not explain the reason, and we do not speculate.
- Ownership: In early 2025 Allwyn, the lottery group, announced a deal to buy a 51 per cent stake in Logflex MT Holding, the Novibet parent. In March 2026 the two companies jointly said the deal would no longer go ahead after competition concerns in Greece. Novibet therefore remains independent of Allwyn, and the cancelled deal is not a regulatory finding about the brand.
Because the UK licences were surrendered, there is no current UK regulatory oversight of the brand to point to, which is one reason our trust score is lower than for operators with long, clean and currently active licences in several jurisdictions. The Irish licence is the relevant protection for you as an Irish customer, and the practical point is that you should set your own limits and not rely on the operator to spot problems for you.
Sports and betting markets
We could not load Novibet’s Irish site, so we cannot give a first-hand account of its sports menu or odds. Third-party reviews written for Irish readers describe football, horse racing, Gaelic sports, virtual betting and eSports, with Bet Builder, cash out (including partial and automatic cash out), in-play betting and live streaming. We have not verified those claims and we did not test prices, so this review makes no claim about how Novibet’s odds compare. If GAA or greyhound racing is important to you, check that the markets you want are listed before registering. For big racing weeks, see our guides to Cheltenham and the Grand National.
What we can say is that Novibet is investing in Irish visibility. In May 2026 it was announced as lead football partner for the Off The Ball Premier League shows, with Novibet’s Irish Country Manager describing it as part of expanding in Ireland. Sponsorship shows ambition, but it says nothing about odds, limits or how withdrawals are handled.
The Novibet app
We could not find a verified app store listing for Novibet in Ireland: the listing we tried returned an error, and third-party pages that mention iOS and Android apps are not a substitute for the stores themselves. We therefore make no claim about the app’s features, rating or version. Search for the Novibet app in the Irish App Store or Google Play, check the seller name matches the company above and that the age rating is 18+, and read recent user reviews before installing. Keep in mind that app store ratings come from a self-selected group of users and do not tell you how withdrawals or support work.
Signing up
- Registration is done directly on novibet.ie or in the app, with standard identity and age verification (18+) required before you can withdraw, and often before you deposit.
- You will need to confirm you are a resident of the Republic of Ireland and provide the usual personal and payment details.
- Expect document checks early. Many Trustpilot complaints about Novibet concern verification and withdrawal delays, so upload your photo ID and proof of address promptly rather than waiting until you want to withdraw.
- Set deposit limits during registration and review your marketing preferences before you finish.
Our step-by-step guide to opening a betting account walks through each stage, including verification.
Payments
Novibet’s own pages were not readable by our tools, so we cannot confirm which payment methods, euro minimums, maximums or processing times apply to an Irish account. An Irish-facing third-party review lists cards, PayPal, Paysafecard, Neteller, Apple Pay and bank transfer, but that page was written around an offer that had already expired, which tells us it is not kept current, so we present it as context only and not as a statement of what is available to you.
| Method | Confirmed for Irish accounts? | What we can say |
|---|---|---|
| Debit and credit cards | Not confirmed from Novibet’s own site | Listed by a third-party review; check the cashier |
| PayPal, Neteller, Paysafecard | Not confirmed | Listed by the same third-party review; availability and withdrawal eligibility unverified |
| Apple Pay / bank transfer | Not confirmed | Listed by the same review; unverified |
| Euro minimums and processing times | Not confirmed | Not published on pages we could read; confirm at the cashier before depositing |
Whatever method you use, expect withdrawals to a method in your own name after identity verification, and read the cashier’s stated times before you deposit rather than after. Given the withdrawal complaints described below, a small first withdrawal is a sensible test.
The welcome offer
We could not verify Novibet’s current Irish welcome offer. Third-party pages quote different headline figures, including €50, €70 and €100 in free bets, and at least one of those pages described an offer with an expiry date that had already passed, so none of those figures should be relied on. We have no commercial relationship with Novibet and do not know which, if any, is current. Check novibet.ie directly and read the full terms, including qualifying odds, expiry, how the free bets are credited and any excluded payment methods. Several Trustpilot reviewers complain about bonuses that did not arrive as advertised or loyalty rewards that were withdrawn, which is a reason to keep screenshots of the terms you signed up under. See our free bets and wagering explainer for what each condition means. A free bet is a promotional credit, not a reason to bet more than you planned.
Safety and account controls
We could not read Novibet’s responsible gambling page, so we cannot list the exact tools on offer. A third-party review says deposit limits, time-outs, self-exclusion and account closure are provided, which is what you should expect from a regulated operator, but verify them in your account settings. Set your own limits before you play, use time-outs when you need a break, and use self-exclusion if gambling stops being fun. The Irish support service GamblingCare.ie offers a free 24/7 helpline on 1800 936 725, and our responsible gambling page lists further support.
Novibet compared with the other operators we review
Against the other bookmakers on Punter Ireland, Novibet’s confirmed licensing is a genuine plus but thinner than the best-documented rivals, and we could verify less about its products. The weak Trustpilot profile holds its trust and customer support scores below the middle of the field. See all of our betting sites and our comparison for new customers.
What Novibet customers complain about
Novibet’s Trustpilot profile is dominated by one-star reviews, and the recurring themes are consistent: slow account verification, withdrawals described as delayed, accounts restricted after a win, unresponsive support and bonuses that did not arrive as described. Trustpilot reviews are unverified, cover the whole product range including casino products that sit outside an Irish betting licence, and unhappy customers are far more likely to post than happy ones. We also note that the profile showed only a small number of reviews in the last twelve months and no recent business replies to negative reviews. The pattern is strong enough to treat as a real warning. Practical steps: complete verification before you need to withdraw, keep screenshots of the offer terms you signed up under, deposit only what you are comfortable having delayed, and escalate any unresolved complaint in writing.
Irish gambling regulation context
The Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland (GRAI) opened applications for remote betting licences on 9 February 2026, and remote betting licences started on 1 July 2026. Logflex MT Ltd is listed on the Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register of licensed remote bookmakers, and the same company name appears on a GRAI notice of intent to apply. Gaming (casino) licences are separate and are expected to open through 2027 and 2028, which is why no operator on this site is presented as licensed for casino play by Irish customers, whatever Maltese or UK licences the same group may hold.
Safety checklist before you sign up
- Confirm the licence reference for the entity serving Irish customers: Logflex MT Ltd, reference 1020856 on the Irish Revenue register.
- Look for a GRAI statement in Novibet’s own Irish footer and treat it as the operator’s own claim until you can match it to a public GRAI record.
- Check payment methods, euro limits and processing times at the cashier, since we could not confirm them for an Irish account.
- Read the welcome offer terms in full before opting in, including qualifying odds, expiry and any excluded payment methods, and check the free bets arrive.
- Upload your identity documents early so verification does not delay your first withdrawal.
- Set a deposit limit as part of registration, not after you have started playing, and know how to self-exclude before you need to.
Dispute routes
If you have an unresolved complaint with Novibet that is not settled through its own customer support, Irish customers of a licensed betting entity can raise regulatory concerns with the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland. Complain in writing first, keep records of what you send and receive, and give Novibet a reasonable chance to respond. Our Responsible Gambling page lists current contact routes and support organisations.
Switching from another bookmaker
If you are moving to Novibet from another bookmaker, carry across the basics: set the same deposit limit you had before, do not treat a new offer as a reason to stake more than you planned, and check that its markets cover the sports you bet on most, particularly if you follow GAA or greyhounds. Registering a second account does not require closing the first, but each account needs its own limits. If your first priority is a bookmaker with a well-documented licence trail, compare Novibet with the operators in the table above before you commit.
In-play betting and cash out
Third-party reviews describe live betting, live streaming on eligible events and both full and partial cash out. Cash out lets you settle a bet before an event finishes at a price the bookmaker offers at that moment; it is not available on every market and it is not a safety net. We did not test it. Our bet types guide covers how it works, and our beginner’s guide to placing a bet is a good start if you are new.
Who Novibet in Ireland suits
Novibet may suit punters who value a bookmaker with a confirmed Irish Revenue licence, who want to compare a newer Irish challenger against the big names, and who are comfortable verifying the offer, payments and app for themselves. It is less likely to suit customers who want casino games under an Irish licence, anyone who wants confirmed payment and withdrawal terms before signing up, and anyone for whom the complaint pattern above is a deal-breaker.
A note on Novibet’s corporate family
Novibet is the brand of the Logflex group, with Logflex MT Holding Limited described in trade reports as the parent. Reports list its markets as Malta, Greece, Brazil, Ireland and Mexico. Do not assume a licence or product available on one Novibet site applies to another; check the entity named in the footer of the site you are using. Logflex MT Ltd is the licensee named on the Irish Revenue register.
Customer support
We did not test Novibet’s live chat or email response times for this review, and its help pages were not accessible to us. Trustpilot reviewers frequently describe support as slow or unhelpful, although some customers describe it as excellent, so we score customer support low on that evidence while recognising it is a one-sided source. Once you are registered, check the help section of your account for current channels, and keep screenshots or saved chat transcripts of any conversation about a deposit, withdrawal or offer.
What to check before your first bet
Before your first bet, confirm a few practical details directly on novibet.ie or in the app: the live welcome offer and its terms, the payment methods and limits at the cashier for your account, and how the app handles the sports you follow. Start with a small stake while you learn the bet slip and cash out features, and verify your account before you need to withdraw.
Review methodology
This review is based on the Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register of licensed remote bookmakers (version dated 30 June 2026, checked 3 October 2026), the GRAI public notice of intent for Logflex MT Limited, trade reporting on Novibet’s 2022 UK exit and the cancelled Allwyn transaction, an Irish media announcement of the Off The Ball partnership, third-party Irish reviews (used as context only), and Trustpilot. Novibet’s own site, help pages and app store listing could not be read, so we say so rather than fill the gaps. Where information could not be independently verified — such as any GRAI reference on its own footer, the welcome offer, payment methods and the app — we say so rather than repeat marketing claims. We hold no affiliate or commercial relationship with Novibet at the time of writing.
Frequently asked questions
Is Novibet licensed in Ireland?
Yes, for sports betting. Logflex MT Ltd, trading as Novibet, holds Irish Remote Bookmaker’s Licence reference 1020856 on the Irish Revenue Commissioners’ register (version dated 30 June 2026). Logflex MT Limited also appears on a public GRAI notice of intent to apply. We could not read any GRAI reference stated on Novibet’s own site.
Has Novibet been fined by a regulator?
We found no published fine or penalty against Novibet in the sources we could read, but we could not read the UK Gambling Commission register directly. Novibet surrendered its UK licences and left the UK on 21 February 2022; trade reports describe it as a voluntary exit and do not mention a sanction.
Can I play casino games at Novibet in Ireland?
Not under the Irish sports betting licence. Ireland does not yet have gaming (casino) licences; GRAI is expected to open these through 2027 and 2028. We could not confirm which casino products are offered to Irish accounts.
What payment methods does Novibet accept in Ireland?
We could not confirm this from Novibet’s own site. Third-party reviews list cards, PayPal and other methods, but check the cashier for your account, including euro limits and processing times, before you deposit.
What is the Novibet welcome offer for Ireland?
We could not verify it. Third-party pages quote different figures, and some are out of date. Read the current offer and full terms on novibet.ie before opting in.
What do customers say about Novibet?
Novibet’s Trustpilot score is 1.7 out of 5 from 553 reviews, with most reviews at one star and common complaints about verification, withdrawals and support. Some customers report fast withdrawals and good service. Trustpilot reviews are unverified.

What Trustpilot reviewers say
As of 3 October 2026, Novibet holds a TrustScore of 1.7 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 553 reviews. This is the brand’s global score, not filtered to Irish customers — Trustpilot does not let a business split ratings by reviewer country — and it covers the whole product range, including casino and slots products that fall outside an Irish betting licence, so many comments concern those. Trustpilot ratings for bookmakers also skew low generally: happy customers rarely leave a review, while people with an account or withdrawal problem often do, so treat this as a complaints signal alongside the rest of this review rather than a balanced popularity score. Eighty-three per cent of Novibet’s ratings are one star; the two reviews below were both posted in July 2025, the most recent pair we could read that were not unverifiable fraud allegations, so they are older than the score date above. Two recent reviews below, picked to show the range rather than only the worst or the best, and avoiding reviews that make specific allegations we cannot verify:
“The customer service was top tier. The verification process was smooth and easy.”
— Caleb Diamond, ★★★★★ (5/5), July 2025, via Trustpilot
“I’ve been for the past four months been getting a loyalty bonus and this month I am being told I am not getting one.”
— Cindy Freedman, ★ (1/5), July 2025, via Trustpilot

Final verdict
Novibet has a confirmed Irish Revenue licence through Logflex MT Ltd, no published enforcement action that we could find, and a visible commitment to the Irish market. Against that, the confirmed licensing evidence is thinner than for several rivals, its UK licences were surrendered in 2022, we could not verify its payments, app or welcome offer from first-hand sources, and its Trustpilot profile is dominated by complaints about verification, withdrawals and support. If you want to try it, verify the offer and payments yourself, upload your documents early, test a small withdrawal first and set your own limits. If reliable support and a long, well-documented licensing record matter most, compare it against the other bookmakers we review.
