Betting on Sligo Rovers

Sligo have been near the bottom of the table, so understanding the favourite price against them matters. Say a bookmaker offers 4.00 on a Sligo home win, 3.40 on the draw and 1.85 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 25.0%, 29.4% and 54.1%, which total 108.5%, so the margin is 8.5%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.40 returns €34.00, a €24.00 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.

Before you bet on a Sligo Rovers match, check for team news, because line-ups are announced about an hour before kick-off and prices often move.
