Betting on Waterford

Waterford finished 2025 in ninth place, so the underdog price on the away side is worth checking. Say a bookmaker offers 3.40 on a Waterford home win, 3.30 on the draw and 2.10 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 29.4%, 30.3% and 47.6%, which total 107.3%, so the margin is 7.3%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.30 returns €33.00, a €23.00 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.
