Betting on Tottenham Hotspur
Spurs’ form has been volatile, so price comparisons matter. Say a bookmaker offers 2.30 on a Tottenham home win, 3.60 on the draw and 3.10 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 43.5%, 27.8% and 32.3%, which total 103.5%, so the margin is 3.5%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.60 returns €36.00, a €26.00 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.
