2026 at a glance
How does the GAA season run?
The Allianz Leagues open the inter-county year in winter, and the provincial championships follow in spring. The All-Ireland series runs through the summer, and in 2026 the hurling final was scheduled for 19 July and the football final for 26 July, both at Croke Park. Club championships fill the rest of the year. Dates change each season, so the official GAA fixtures schedule is the source to check.

Which county guide do you need?
Each guide covers a county’s honours, home ground and 2026 results, with notes on how to approach betting on the team.
How does GAA scoring work?
A point, scored over the bar, is worth one. A goal, scored under the bar into the net, is worth three. Scores are written as goals-points, so 1-29 means one goal and 29 points, which is 32 in total. Our GAA betting guide explains how this feeds into handicap and total-score markets.
