Fulham history
Church Sunday School origins
Fulham formed in September 1879 and joined the Southern League in 1898, turning professional on 12 December 1898. The club was elected to the Football League in 1907.
Lower-league years
Fulham were relegated to the Third Division South in 1927–28, won it in 1931–32, and fell to the Third Division in 1968–69 after consecutive relegations.
Al-Fayed and the Premier League
Mohamed Al-Fayed bought the club in 1997 for £6.75 million. Fulham reached the Premier League in 2001 and spent 13 consecutive seasons in the top flight until relegation in 2014.
Khan and the return
Shahid Khan bought the club on 12 July 2013. Fulham were relegated in 2019 and 2021 and returned in 2022 after winning the 2021–22 Championship.
How many titles have Fulham won?
Fulham have never won a major trophy. Their titles include the Second Division in 1948–49, the First Division in 2000–01 (then the second tier) and the Championship in 2021–22.
Fulham lost the 1975 FA Cup final 2–0 to West Ham, and reached their first League Cup semi-final in 2022–23.

Rivalries and supporters
Chelsea are the main rivals, then Queens Park Rangers and Brentford. Crystal Palace and Gillingham are lesser rivalries.
Betting on Fulham
Fulham often play tight games, so draw prices are worth checking. Say a bookmaker offers 2.55 on a Fulham home win, 3.45 on the draw and 2.80 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 39.2%, 29.0% and 35.7%, which total 103.9%, so the margin is 3.9%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.45 returns €34.50, a €24.50 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.
Before you bet on a Fulham match, check for team news, because line-ups are announced about an hour before kick-off and prices often move. Our bet types guide explains markets such as draw no bet and both teams to score, and the free bets guide explains why offers rarely pay what the headline suggests.
Our AI predictions track record logs every pick we make, hit or miss, and our Premier League predictions and odds guide explains how to use predictions without treating them as certainties.
