Betting on Bournemouth
Bournemouth are a small club in a big league, so home prices are often tight. Say a bookmaker offers 2.30 on a Bournemouth home win, 3.50 on the draw and 3.15 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 43.5%, 28.6% and 31.7%, which total 103.8%, so the margin is 3.8%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.50 returns €35.00, a €25.00 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.
Before you bet on a Bournemouth match, check for team news, because line-ups are announced about an hour before kick-off and prices often move.
