Betting on Dundalk
Dundalk are back in the top flight, so price comparisons against the established clubs matter. Say a bookmaker offers 2.60 on a Dundalk home win, 3.30 on the draw and 2.70 on the away win. Those prices imply chances of 38.5%, 30.3% and 37.0%, which total 105.8%, so the margin is 5.8%. A €10 bet on the draw at 3.30 returns €33.00, a €23.00 profit. The prices are illustrative, not a quote. Our guide to how betting odds work walks through the sums.
